I believe the best way to coach others is to practice what you preach.
I’m constantly learning, applying what I learn to my own training, and putting those lessons to the test. Being my own best client allows me to understand what actually works—not just in theory, but in real life.
I bring that experience to every client, using what I’ve learned to create thoughtful, effective training that is built around you, your goals, and your life.
I believe good training comes from understanding the fundamentals, applying them consistently, and paying attention to what happens along the way.
I don’t expect my clients to blindly follow a program. I want them to understand the process and feel confident in what they’re doing.

MORE THAN FITNESS
What You Can Expect
Great personal training goes beyond a workout. It’s a partnership built on thoughtful programming, consistent support, and progress that matters to you..
01 | A Thoughtful Approach
Personalized training built around your goals, abilities, and lifestyle, with thoughtful coaching and programming that evolves as you progress.
02 | Dedicated Support
Consistent guidance, honest feedback, and individual attention to help you stay accountable, overcome challenges, and continue making meaningful progress toward your goals.
03 | Lasting Progress
Build strength, improve your health, and gain confidence in what your body can do—with progress that supports your life beyond the gym.
PERSONAL TRAINING SHOULD BE PERSONAL
A Thoughtful Approach
Your program should reflect your goals, your experience, your abilities, and ultimately, your life.
I take the time to understand those factors before deciding what you need. Training is then adjusted as you progress—not based on a predetermined formula, but on how you respond along the way.
The result is a coaching experience built around thoughtful programming, individual attention, and continuous progress.
No unnecessary complexity. No one-size-fits-all approach.
Just purposeful training designed specifically for you.
✓ LEARN :Understand the principles behind effective training and what your body needs.
✓ APPLY: Put those principles into practice through purposeful, well-designed training.
✓ ADAPT: Pay attention to how you respond and make adjustments when necessary.
✓ PROGRESS: Build strength, capability, and confidence over time.
My Experience
My journey with training started as an athlete, but it didn’t end when I stopped competing. I’ve spent years learning how to train for strength, performance, health, and longevity—and I’ve had the opportunity to experience training from both sides: as an athlete and as a coach.
COLLEGIATE ATHLETE
4-year rugby athlete at Winona State University, including the 2011 Minnesota All-State Championship team.
COLLEGIATE STRENGTH & CONDITIONING
Designed and implemented strength and conditioning programs for the Winona State University Men’s Rugby team and Marquette University Women’s Rowing team.
CONTINUED PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
At 38, I’m in the best shape of my life—and I’m still working to become stronger, healthier, and more capable. I believe training should never stop evolving, including my own.
