Shocked. COVID-19 could shut down Wisconsin and even the country. Our thoughts jumped from isn’t that a little extreme, to what can we do to help to how will small businesses survive?  After a few days, and no shut down, we found some ground to stand on. We realized that our community was strong, supportive and loving. It was our turn to do our part to try and help our community. We had to keep providing workouts. That’s how it happened. Daily 30 minute workout videos.  These YouTube workouts became an option.. for clients who didn’t want to come into the gym to train because of COVID-19. for clients who had kids at home and couldn’t come in to workout. to reach and help friends and family across the country. Daily workouts were an option for us to keep a schedule. They have held us accountable and kept us connected with our Pure Fitness family under the Safer At Home order.  All of our workouts can be found on our YouTube Channel and can be done at home with or without equipment. Our Favorite At Home Fitness Gear

We have helped many clients put together home gyms that fit their space and budget. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has challenged us to think of what we would recommend to everyone regardless of space and budget. As a result we have put together a list of four of our most functional, cost effective and space saving items for a home gym. (This post contains affiliate links.) Small Circle Resistance Band  If you have trained with us you know that we live and die by our Hip Circles. Well not literally, but 90% of the people who walk through our door use this band because they are highly effective. And this particular brand is the highest quality we have experienced. The latex alternatives are so thin they wear out or break easily as clients, but not this one. Keep an eye on our YouTube channel as an entire band workout will be released this week! Don’t miss out – order your band today. Medicine Ball It would be nice if we all had the money laying around and extra space to store a full rack of dumbbells. Unfortunately, that is not the case for many of us. That is why we recommend medicine balls as functional items that save space. You can get away with one medicine ball for 100s of exercises and add in a variety of plyometrics. Just imagine how dangerous throwing or slamming a dumbbell could be.
